Demolition is a highly technological and complex industry, required skilled competent trained personnel working with the modern plant and equipment, using impeccably safe working procedures. Over the last 25 years, MJM has build up tremendous experience and techniques to complement these requirements in a very competitive market.

We succeed on the technically complicated projects, from high rise demolition projects involving adjoining properties, close proximity of pedestrians etc to road closures and extensive infrastructure protection measures. We have experienced strong steady growth over the last 25 years which attribute to our ability to complete projects to the highest quality standards within budget and on time.

Health & Safety

The potentially high risk nature of our industry means that the management of health and safety has been and will always be at the priority of the company’s strategy.

We pride our selves with an impeccable safety system of work. We seek to ensure that all our operatives on site are competent to carry out their tasks and follow Health and safety policy. We carryout extensive training programs to ensure everyone on site is vigilant to safety risk in Demolition and eliminate or manage these risks on each site.

All our sites are monitored daily for health and safety performance by the supervisors, weekly by one of our managers and regular external health and safety audits are undertaken by our Health and Safety Consultants.

Performance and Goal at MJM believe that all injuries, as well as safety, environmental and transport incidence are Preventable as such our goal for all is zero.

Environment

MJM recognized its responsibility to reduce the impact of our activities on our immediate surroundings and, just as importantly, on the wider environment as a whole.                                                   

Environmental Plans 

On most major projects we routinely prepare an environmental impact assessment report to spot any environmental risk that our activity may create. This proactive action of our dedicated team enables MJM to define critical control point, creative measures, monitoring procedures and compliance with any legislation.

Training

An elementary part of our training policy is to review training regularly; annual training plan is develop to identify the areas for continual staff training and improvement. This process ensures that all our workforce achieve and maintain the necessary skills to carry out their tasks correctly and safely.

All training provided is Construction Skills (CITB) approved and satisfies the NDTG, CSCS and CPCS Bodies.

As well as being registered with Construction Skills, we are members of the National Demolition Training Group and our employees are trained to CCDO level (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives).
